Solar powered street lights 150W with Motion Sensor

I’ve put two of these lights on my driveway.

Very bright. Installed it on a tree and works great!

The “Solar LED Street Light, 6000K Outdoor Solar Street Lamp Dusk to Dawn with Motion Sensor, Two Mounting Ways – Pole/Wall Mount, LOVUS, ST60-039” have excellent brightness. The motion sensor works appropriately and the solar charge requires little light to actually charge for the whole dusk to dawn period. The wall mount is easy enough to do and the light looks great. Highly recommended.

my son in law installed it for me because of a ladder soon as it charged it started working. only thing that is different that I didn’t know was when there is a motion detector in it and with no motion around it, the light only runs about 1/2 [power] but when at full power it lights up nicely.

So far so good. Been a couple of nights since installed. Charged it half a day before put it up. It ran all night with the 30 percent until motion, then got really bright, it’s great. Next few days have been rainy and partly cloudy, and still worked all night. See if this one last and might get another.

We just got this light today, I opened the box and let it bake in the sun for a few hours while I gathered my tools, set up the ladder and mounted the pole. I mounted it on the telephone pole in my front yard, It is mounted as 13’6″. I know that is low from the recommendations, but worked just fine. I bought this light because the end of my driveway is dim even with the 150 watt equivalent LED floods on the peak of my house. I also purchased them because we have had a rash of car door handle checkers in the neighborhood, and I caught one of them on my cameras. so I have been upgrading and adding a lot of security items, 5 more Blink cameras, this light, and a driveway chime that the receiver is right next to my bed.To the point.So far the light is great, comes up to 100% when someone is walking in the road by my house. It is bright, but not 6000L, maybe right at the lens it might be. I took a lux meter on my phone and took a reading under my flood lights. The 150 watt equivalent that are roughly 1600 lumen gave me a reading of 102 lux, whereas the Street light only gave me about 85 lux (screen shots included), So i am going to guesstimate around 1300 lumens. Like I said the street light is at about 13’6″, and the flood lights are in the 20 foot range, don’t get me wrong it is still bright and will do the job I expected. Outstanding light, extremely easy to install. I have had it about 4 months now with no issues at all. Super bright and the motion detection works great.

This was easy to install. Works great. Keeps our driveway bright enough to get from car to house and most of our front yard.

Installed this LED street light at the entrance way to my off grid property and they are plenty bright at maximum brightness when motion is detected.It was very easy to install using the pole extension mount and came with all the mounting hardware.The battery capacity is good and last all through the night before it is charged up again during the day.Very well made Solar LED light.

This is a very bright solar-powered lamp that effectively illuminates much of our back yard, even when mounted only 7’ above the ground.Included is the lamp itself with integrated solar panel and on/off button, a 20” mounting post, a clamp to allow installation over many sizes of post, and mounting hardware to allow mounting onto masonry or wood. For installation, you’ll want a ½” and 9/16” ratchet.The lamp has an on/off button and a non-obvious motion sensor just beside the LED modules.When on full intensity, this thing is bright (though I don’t think it is the full 6000lm as advertised). Prior to mounting it, I put it in our kitchen in the dark. It puts out a similar amount of light as our standard fixture (which is 3 x 800lm bulbs). When motion isn’t detected, the light dims significantly.My only real complaint with this light is how sensitive it is to motion. On a breezy night, the light keeps switching between low and high power, even though there are few bushes/trees close to the lamp. Because the light is so bright, this dimming/brightening is actually annoying from the closest bedroom if in bed.The other thing worth noting is that the solar panel is on the back side of the lamp, and the post causes the lamp to be at an angle. Depending where you mount the lamp, this may really impact the sunlight exposure seen by the solar panel.Overall, I’m really happy with this lamp, though I wish there was a way to adjust motion sensor sensitivity.

This Solar LED Street Light performs like a champ. I installed it on the backyard shed, which is easy since it’s wireless. It can also be installed on a pole. Unlike many other solar LEDs I tried before, this one is super bright and the brightness does not wane that much throughout the night.It will even work well when it’s overcast, especially on the eco mode, which still has plenty of brightness. The motion sensor works really well, maybe a little well as larger dogs will trigger it. The only thing I dislike about it is that it has a plastic build so I’m not sure how many years it will last being exposed to the weather all the time. But so far, this is an excellent performing LED solar that is a great option for places where wired lights are not possible. Full marks from me!

This light has worked perfectly to illuminate our backyard basketball court. It’s fairly large and extremely bright, and can handle any weather condition. It comes with all the mounting hardware that was needed to install it on a wall. Because it has a solar panel and a very good integrated rechargeable battery, there is no need for power cables. The battery easily lasts an entire night. It has sensors to detect light and motion, it turns on automatically when dark, and when it detects motion it becomes brighter. The light is made out of great quality materials that will last a long time. This is an excellent quality LED solar light that works exactly as described.

Works perfect lights up the whole front yard

This light is just what we needed to light a section of driveway that has no power close by.It was super easy to install in a pine tree beside the driveway. The big solar panels on top get enough light through the trees to charge it on sunny days.The light shines a dim light at all times, but then gets brighter when it detects motion. This works pretty well. It could be a bit more sensitive… but we also may have put it up a bit higher than we should have.

We love love love this lightIt is very bright, very easy to install and covers the entire area of the front yard. I am now going to purchase another for the back of the yardI write the above review a few days ago…how the light has stopped working completely and I dont know who to contact

This thing is huge, much larger than I thought. It’s a real street light. It’s very well built, is blindingly bright, can light up a whole section of my front yard. I haven’t got a chance to mount it yet. Since it’s so large, it’s better to mount on a pole. Wonder if my HOA will let me do that.

This was easy to install, great Quality, boxed well and Seller shipped fast. Butthe only thing is it goes dim at times and goes back to being bright again unsure why?

Awesome lights

I used it for ambient lighting in the evening. Not go bright – not to dim. If you are looking to light up a field or something large this is not what you need. Motion detector does pick up movement. I rate it a five for my specific purpose. I live in heavy wood cover as well.

Wow! This is literally a street light, perfect for what we needed it for.Was easy to install and was bright enough to light up the driveway, has a sensor so it does partially stay on through the night and when it senses motion the light gets brighter, pretty cool feature.

Love the light. Works well. The instructions need a magnifying glass and were not quite clear to my wife on functions of remote. No complaints yet on light itself. Pretty good.

I have an acre of land in the country and the back corner of our property has a storage building, but no power. This was easy to install and is very bright, adds the layer of security and light I was needing. No longer walking out into the darkness to go to the building. Great for anyone who does not want to run power or pay extra for energy use.

This order no longer works. It has stopped producing light for some reason. I checked the inside instruments to determine the reason for its failure to illuminate light. I’m requesting a replacement.

This was easy to install, no wires needed and it comes with the mounting pole. Very bright and lights up a large area.

I’ve had bad experiences with trying to get solar lights that are actually practical for providing illumination. They’re almost always so dim as to be useless to provide any kind of meaningful lighting over ambient light at night especially in the city and you’re lucky to just a little bit of time out of them before they go dead even if they’ve been charging in the sun all day. Not the case with this one… it’s a beast as far as solar is concerned.I mounted it to a fence pole in the rear of the yard and let it cook in the sun for the rest of the day, at night even in the “dim” setting it was actually usable to see the ground under it (to be clear, fence pole is not that high up, though) and the motion sensor is really sensitive and lights up full blast whenever I came anywhere near it. The light was still lit up when I passed out later that night, something my old solar lights back there pretty much never managed.I was going to give it 4 stars instead of 5 because I am not a big fan of the plastic housing when I’m used to exterior lights like this having full metal housings but at the end of the day it’s not very noticeable and if it works it works, and it does work well enough to get my recommendation as a great performing solar option. Keep in mind that the colour temperature of this is very white, if you have any other lights nearby that are a more traditional warm temperature it might look strange.

Wow. Wow. And wow. Had no clue solar could be this bright! Tested this bad boy over the shed and it has been very consistent. As I approach the shed it picks up my motion and thoroughly illuminates the ground around me. I am very curious to find out how long the batteries hold up with drain and charge cycles. I will update should anything fall short of reasonable expectations.

I installed this on my garbage shed. Been using it for 2 weeks now under lower than -15 degrees weather and as long as the snow doesn’t cover the panel it works great. Motion detection makesThe lights turns on instantly. Lights are fairly strong considering it’s powered by the sun. The color of the light is very industrial like, strong white

So far its working well. nice looking bright enough and so far lasts all night as best I can tell (always fall asleep :-)I LOVE the AIO (all in one) units. just screw it into the building/frame and you are done. no pieces to assemble. just so much easier and looks better.time will tell how the battery holds up.

Great light , low bean all night if any motion boom hi beams super sensitive from 30 feet away cane charged and with a power switch. Only thing is like all other lights. Only black or grey and no stainless. But for the money I’m super happy

I installed this at my cottage by the boathouse to be able to see at night if i want to go down to the dock. there is no power down there so solar power is the only way really. This light has made a huge difference and boy is it ever bright when it detects motion. The eco power saver mode is still more than enough but isnt super bright as when it detects motion. The motion detection is instant and sensitive enough for humans but not triggered by my dog at all which is great for me. I dont want it going full blast in the middle of the night for something small/unnecessary. I supposed motion detection depends on how close it is to the ground, i mounted mine about 15 feet up.The eco power mode lasts all night no worries about the battery dying by midnight like the small ones you attach to railings. The quality is fantastic with a good quality cast housing(think its aluminum) and arm. Even the included hardware is good quality stainless. Its well designed and works well.The light colour is a neutral white, not warm and not cold, right in the middle. Almost industrial like.

This is extremely bright, good quality, lightweight. I’m very satisfied with this product.
